Indonesian Visa information

Foreigners are required to have valid visa for traveling to Indonesia. Before submitting your visa application, please check below for important information concerning visa application procedure, visa condition and any other requirements for submitting visa application.

Types of Visas:

1. Visa exemption (Visa-free visit)

The Visa exemption is valid for a maximum stay of 30 days for Tourism Purpose and cannot be extended nor converted into another type of stay permit.

Purpose of Visit:

  • Tourism

  • Official visit or government duties

  • Business meeting

  • Purchase of goods

  • Official meeting

  • Transit


Requirements:

  • Passport (diplomatic/officials/ordinary with a minimum validity of 6 (six) months

  • A return ticket or connecting ticket to continue journey to another country



2. Visa on Arrival & Electronic Visa on Arrival

  • Visa on Arrival (VoA) can be obtained upon arrival in Indonesia at the designated airports, seaports, or land border checkpoint.

  • Electronic Visa on Arrival / E-VoA (B213), this type of visa can be submitted online via https://evisa.imigrasi.go.id before departure.

Purpose of Visit:

  • Business meeting

  • Purchase of goods

  • Official meeting

  • Transit


Requirements:

  • Passport (diplomatic/officials/ordinary with a minimum validity of 6 (six) months, and has at least two blank pages left

  • A return ticket or connecting ticket to continue journey to another country



3. Single-Entry Visa (index B211A, B211B, B211C)

B211A for maximum stay of 60 days and can be extended 2 times 60 days until maximum stay of 180 days.

Purpose of Visit:

  • Tourism

  • Medical assistance, Food support, and humanitarian aid

  • Business meeting at the head or representative office, but not to supervise production activities of producers/sellers

  • Business discussion, negotiation, signing business contract

  • Purchase of goods

  • Government visit

  • Visiting places or activities in the framework of official government duties related to the G20

  • Crew member who joins the vessel in Indonesia

  • Pre-investment activity

  • Transit

  • Participating in sport related activities invited by the Indonesian government, international championships or sport related activities by international sports organizations.


Requirements:

  • Visa application form (contact us for assistance)

  • National passport with a minimum validity of 6 (six) months from the date of entry into Indonesian territory, for the maximum stay of 60 days, and has at least two blank pages left

  • National passport with a minimum validity of 12 (twelve) months from the date of entry into Indonesian territory, for the maximum stay of 180 days

  • Letter of sponsorship from the sponsor in Indonesia, except your visit is as a tourist. Or proof of Immigration guarantee funds for individuals intended to conduct pre-investment activity

  • Proof of funds (bank statements) at least US$ 2000 (two thousand US dollars) or equivalent to support the cost of living of foreign nationals and/or their family in Indonesia

  • A return ticket or connecting ticket to continue journey to another country, except for crew members who join the ship/vessel in Indonesia and continue the journey to another country.

  • 2 (two) color passport size photos
