THE BEAUTY OF KINTAMANI

During this trip you will get to know the beauty of the mountains, the mystery of spices and the Hindu ceremonies of the island of Bali. The first stop goes to the carving workshop, where you will have the opportunity to see the art of Balinese carvers and learn about some types of rare wood.
After this visit, we will visit the gardens, where you will get to know different types of spices, fruits and get an insight into the traditional way of roasting coffee. This visit also includes a tasting of local coffee, cocoa, ginseng coffee, ginger tea, lemon grass tea and other non-traditional teas.
It is also possible to taste real civet coffee for a fee. After a short stop, we head further north to the Kintamani Mountains. After a stop for lunch with a view of Gunung Batur, one of the still active volcanoes on the island.
The last stop awaits us at the Tirta Empul temple, where you will be able to take a look at the Hindu purification ceremonies of the body and spirit and then see a traditional Hindu prayer.​

MAGICAL NATURE OF THE HINTERLAND

This trip leads us to the northwest of the island. The first stop is the Kupu Kupu butterfly park, where you will have the opportunity to see various types of exotic butterflies, even take pictures with them, and at the same time view an extensive exhibition of not only exotic butterflies but also other rare and unusual insects.
We will then continue north to the Jatiluwih rice fields, a UNESCO natural heritage site. Here you will get to know the traditional way of growing rice and learn about its different types. After lunch with a view of the rice fields, we will continue to the valley in the Bedugul Mountains (approx. 1200mabove sea level) with 3 large lakes: Tamblingan, Buyan and Beratan.
First, we will visit the traditional fruit and vegetable market and then the temple located on the largest of the lakes - Danau Beratan - Pura Ulun DanuBeratan. This temple is dedicated to the goddess of rice Dewi Sri and is mainly used by local farmers to give thanks and make offerings to the gods for a good harvest.​

Jatiluwih (Penebel)
A UNESCO heritage farming area with beautiful terraced rice fields.
​Pura Ulun Danu Beratan (Bedugul)
A temple in the chill mountain region. The valley 1200m above sea level shelters three lakes, a village and a charming panorama.

SPIRITUAL EAST
Batik - Kusamba - Tirta Gangga Royal Bath - Taman Ujung Water Palace

The first stop on this trip will be a batik workshop, where you will have the opportunity to learn about the traditional way of dyeing fabrics, which has almost nothing to do with our understanding of batik. We will continue, as the name of the trip suggests, towards the east of the island, which is mostly lined with black lava sand beaches. These beaches are known to be warmer, and for this reason sea salt is often traditionally produced there. One such place, Kusamba, will be our stop for you to see the process.
We will continue to Tirta Gangga Royal Baths/Water Gardens, famous for its elegant fountains and ponds. The journey in the footsteps of the royal families will take us further to another royal residence. Taman Ujung Water Palace. This place was used by the royal families of Karangasem to rest and relax by the sea on hot tropical days. It has picturesque gardens, several pavilions and terraces with views of the surrounding countryside and the sea.

Kusamba (traditional salt production)
Due to the black sand, the Kusamba beach isan ideal place for salt production.
Tirta Gangga (Karangasem)
Spa/water garden built in 1948 by the royalfamilies of Karangasem.

RELAXATION ON THE SOUTHERN BEACHES

This excursion is focused on your relaxation. Typically, it is unaccompanied by a guide, but if desired, a guide can be provided for an additional fee. The first stop (except Sundays) is the Turtle Conservation and Education Center. Located on the Serangan Peninsula, it is a turtle rescue station and educational center where you can learn about the life and species of sea turtles. Many species are cared for and treated here. You then continue to relax at a beach of your choice, such as Nusa Dua or Geger. Lunch, except for exceptions, can be enjoyed directly at the beaches.
If you want to indulge in shopping or simply browse souvenir shops, you can visit the SOGO shopping area. In the afternoon, you can explore other beaches to the west, such as Pandawa, Melasti, Nyang-Nyang, or Padang-Padang, where you can continue your leisurely day and enjoy the ocean panorama framed by high cliffs.

This trip is designed for those who love hiking, mountain climbs, and adrenaline. Your trek to Mount Batur starts early in the morning. Our driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the base of the volcano where you will begin a two-hour ascent through the forest, volcanic sand, and black lava with a local guide. You'll reach the highest crater around six in the morning and enjoy an unforgettable sunrise there. After a short break for breakfast at the crater's edge, you can continue around the highest crater and appreciate the beauty of the Batur area. Upon descending to the valley, you'll relax in the hot springs, followed by lunch before we drive you back to your hotel.
